Ikat is a traditional dyeing technique that involves resist dyeing the threads before weaving them into fabric. This intricate process begins with selecting high-quality yarns, which are then tied and dyed using vibrant colours in specific patterns. The tied sections resist the dye, resulting in unique designs that often feature blurred edges, creating a soft, organic look.

Once the yarns are dyed, they are carefully woven on a loom to create stunning textiles. Our timber lamp bases are painted and really compliment our gathered lampshades. They are available in a variety of colours and sizes.
